About these terms
These terms apply to the Truth to Live By website. Truth to Live By is an independent publishing project operated by Mark Walsh in Ireland. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
Editorial purpose
Truth to Live By explores ideas for general understanding and reflection. Content should be read in context, including its evidence notes and references. It is general information and does not provide medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other individual professional advice. Seek an appropriately qualified professional when a decision requires it.
Accuracy and corrections
Truth to Live By aims to treat sources fairly and distinguish evidence from interpretation. Ideas, evidence and external sources can change, and no guarantee is made that every item will remain complete or current. Use the contact route to flag a possible error, with a link and enough detail to examine it.
Content and attribution
Original site content and illustrations belong to their respective rights holders. Linking to an article and making limited use permitted by law are welcome. Permission for substantial reuse, republication or commercial use should be arranged with the relevant rights holder. Third-party material remains subject to its own rights and terms.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, or use its content in a way that infringes another person’s rights or applicable law.
External services and links
The site links to beehiiv, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other external sources. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Truth to Live By does not control their content, availability or data practices. A link is provided for context or convenience and does not by itself endorse everything on the linked service.
Owner-operated publishing system
The Truth to Live By publishing application is an internal brand-management tool. It is not offered as a public service and does not give website visitors access to social accounts or publishing functions. Its use of Google and YouTube services is also governed by the applicable platform terms and policies. See Publishing system and Privacy.
Availability and responsibility
Reasonable care is taken in operating the website, but uninterrupted availability or the continued availability of any particular content is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, Truth to Live By is not responsible for loss caused solely by reliance on general editorial material or by an unavailable third-party service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by Irish law, without affecting any mandatory rights a visitor has under applicable law. The terms may be updated when the website or its services change. The date above identifies the current version.
